Thanksgiving

Ayla, Beckett, Amber and I gathered this year in the lovely home of Amber's sister, Danielle, her husband Joel and family. The home was, and I'm afraid to report, still is located in the state of Kansas (a geographical entity most right-thinking people traverse either by air at 35,000 feet or by car at night). As earlier posts indicate, however, the people of this state (scientifically proven to be flatter than a pancake) are exceedingly warm and welcoming.

The Mizzou-Kansas game was still two days away at this point, so the Rowsons were treated with an eyefull of KU colors for the entirety of the holiday. Remarkably, your blogger was still able to a) eat a full Thanksgiving meal and b) keep it down. It didn't hurt, of course, that the turkey was super-delicious and perfectly cooked. I ate it remorselessly for the three succeeding days.

Nobody knows exactly what Beckett is doing here, but he is definitely removing his pants. If you can tie that to the buffoonish antics of his father, then good for you.
