Beckett and Mema tagged along for Amber's work trip out to Seattle. There they ate good food, rode on a ferry and went for a hike to Snoqualmie Falls.

Football season is well underway and Mizzou's national Big Twelve championship campaign is off to a good start. Mizzou has done its best to squeeze the last remaining elements of fun from the tailgating experience, but we will not go quietly. Ayla is doing her part.

This is funny

I have been rightfully accused of overselling the humor in things before. For instance, I forwarded a link to the Onion's moon landing spoof with no fewer than 73 adjectives like "funnest thing ever," "pretty funny stuff" and "funny." When people finally watched the thing they were tragically let down.

So, this made me chuckle. Not out loud or anything, but it was mildly amusing or whatever.
