Christmas fun

After hearing Beckett sing "Twelve Days of Christmas" a couple hundred times, the most fun you'll have over the holidays is by spending time with the family. Here's a slideshow of our fun in Kansas City.

Beckett and I each received soccer jerseys hand-delivered by Don and Judy from their recent trip to Egypt. And as everyone knows, if the holidays are about anything, their about massive numbers of staged photos.

We went ice skating at Crown Plaza one morning (yes, even me). It was sleeting, windy and generally miserable outside, but the ice rink was mostly covered so the cold was only moderately unbearable.

Beckett says he wants to be a doctor when he grows up. Or an astronaut. Or a baseball player. Just depends on when you ask.

We got to spend a lot of time with Joel, Danielle, Brenden and Danika over the break. Danika's going to be teaching Ayla baby tricks very soon, we think.
