A not-so-daily collection of thoughts and pics about the Rowson clan...and especially Beckett and Ayla.

On the way back to the car from the Natural History Museum we stopped off and checked out the action at the skating rink. There we took a rare family photo. Later, Dad joked about running out onto the ice and Gillooly-ing one of the ice-dancing nancy-boys.

Today we went to the Museum of Natural History. The dinosaurs, elephants and lions were all very cool, but I enjoyed chasing the pigeons outside the most.

There was this one pigeon who wanted to race me along a line of concrete planters. I had him beat before he flew off. Cheater.

It snowed a couple of Sundays ago. Mom, Dad and I had a blast rolling around in the white stuff, drinking hot chocolate and sledding. Then we walked home and warmed up by the fire...a great day.

Mema and I got some snuggle time in a couple of weeks ago. Yes, I look like I'm four years old, but I still need my favorite blanket and passie.

The snow was about a foot deep up there and sometimes I had to take a breather. Here, Dad, caught Mom and I relaxing in the powder.

Dad and I tore up the slopes like the "Flying Tomato." No idea who that is? You haven't been watching the Olympics, have you?

Dad and I visited the Alexandria waterfront the other day while Mom was getting pampered at the spa. In this picture I could be enjoying the view or soiling myself. You make the call.

And another view.

Yeah, It's Like a Hole and Stuff

A couple of weeks ago Mom and Dad thought it would be a good time to toss me in the car and drive for four hours down to Roanoke, Virginia. Thankfully, they did stop off at Natural Bridge. Optimistically nicknamed the "Eighth Wonder of the Natural Word," the spectacle of rock and erosion was visited by more than six people that day!

Mom and I still have our nightly routine. I really like to check out new books...I really like "If You Take a Mouse to School." I've also gotten really good with shapes and am working on colors too.

The Force is Strong with this One

While I do have a weak spot for my "Little Einsteins" video, Dad's trying to project his weak spot for tiny green ninjas and beeping robots onto me. Here I am trying to figure out what the hell is going on in "Empire Strikes Back."

Leon's Getting Laaaarger

You're really great and all, Jimmy, but couldja pull a brother's shirt down when you see the camera-wielders gathering? Thanks.

Here I am checking out my cousin Clayton. His dad, Bob is cool but I'm still getting used to the little guy. I bet I'll be teaching him all kinds of bad stuff soon enough.

Mesmer-Einstein

This is me in front of the magic glowing cathode tube that lobotomizes me daily with the "Little Einsteins Huge Adventure." Oooh, it's called "Einstein" and contains works of classical music so it's totally fine to use it as a babysitter, I swear. No really, go get dinner started and change out of your work clothes, I'll be right here "learning" from this yuppiefied baby-crack.

This is my grandma and three great aunts at the family Christmas party...they're a pretty cool bunch.
