Eventually, though, we made up and enjoyed the rest of our time outside. Maybe I will wear my gloves next time...

...until my hands got really, really cold. Do you think Mom telling me "that'll teach you to leave your gloves on" made me feel better or not?

...and frolicked.

Alexandria got a decent amount of snow the other day, so I put on my new snow gear and frolicked.

The day Dad left for a business trip Mom took me to get my first haircut...that'll teach him to take off like that, eh? We went to this really neat kid's salon where I got to watch Baby Einstein while getting trimmed up.

Then we all went back home, set up the tree and celebrated with a rousing Christmas tree cutting toast.

Dad even let me help cut it down.

This is our official family photo for 2005, taken in October.

The day after Thanksgiving we all went to Ticonderoga Tree Farm in Chantilly, Virginia and picked out this really great Christmas tree.

Mom and Dad gave me this tee ball set as an early Christmas present...and I've developed quite a cut.
