Mom wanted me to add a REALLY messy picture from my birthday party. She said I'd have to go to the naughty chair if I didn't. Taking a look at this pic makes you wonder what happens in the naughty chair. Do they strip you down to your undies and smear food all over you? Oops, already done that. Laugh and point and humiliate you? Check. Whatever, I got your naughty chair right here, buddy.
Beckett and Ayla's Blog
A not-so-daily collection of thoughts and pics about the Rowson clan...and especially Beckett and Ayla.

Well, I finally got to go home. Papa and Mema were really great to me, and my cousin Brenden was really fun to play with...but still, it was nice to be home and relax. That took care of Saturday. On Sunday I turned one year old, and Mom and Dad threw a big party for me. I got lots of cool presents, including this tricycle from Mom and Dad. So far it only goes in reverse, but I'll get it straightened out.

Episode V: The Kitchen Strikes Back

Kyle and I have been concentrating largely on the kitchen the past few days. It's starting to come together, but our progress is frequently hindered by the, um, interesting construction practices applied in the building of this house. Walls, cielings, tile, etc. are all wildly uneven, making installation of everything a test of Kyle's talents. Luckily, he's good enough to compensate for that and me.
The kitchen's coming along nicely, but this pic also captures the prized Kylicus houserenovaticus in a rare display of leisure.
Ahh, the Beauty of Spring Training

First, I need to give a big shout out to Beckett, who was nice enough to lend me his blog for posting home improvement pictures. I'm sure he's having fun in Kansas City, but we sure miss him a lot. He probably won't recognize the house when he gets back.
This is a shot of mine and Kyle's lunch break the other day. On tv was the first baseball game played by a Washington team in more than thirty years. The result, as if that even matters, was a 5-3 victory by the Nats. Thank goodness, baseball is back.
