Tonight Mom, Dad, and I went to Generous George's pizza place. There was a funny clown there. But enough about Dad... (badump bump) Anyway, Mom and Dad seemed to enjoy themselves and the weather was so nice that we walked there and back. The parents subjected me to quite an ordeal over the weekend.
First, Friday night was a dinner party with a couple of friends and their son, David. Then on Saturday we went to my second cousin Kelsey's soccer game. Then a nap. Then more partying with David's parents and all their neighbors...it was quite a busy Saturday, but I behaved myself quite well.
This week Dad's been really busy with work and Mom's been dragging me on all kinds of errands. Can a little brother get some rest?
The other night we watched "Dirty Pretty Things." I thought it was pretty slow, but Dad said it was a "stark, postmodern examination of greed and desperation." Yeah dude, I got a pretty dirty thing in my pants.

The other day Dad made me pose with a half-shucked ear of corn. What a rube.
Saturday night I got to try my first bottle feeding, with Dad "feeding me." I put that in quotations because it wasn't so much a feeding as a face-off. 30 minutes of frustrated ineffectiveness later it was discovered that the hole in the nipple end was too tiny. Now that I can actually get milk out of the bottle, we're all much happier.
Other notes:
-Mom's great and all, but do we really need to watch so many "Sex in the City" DVDs? I get it...they're really, really into self-loathing and men. How many seasons can we - ahem - milk that storyline?
-Mom and Dad also have been celebrating nailing down a nanny like they'd just liberated Paris. They need to get out more.

Mom and Dad were getting a little cocky about my sleeping, so I gave them a real barnburner the other day. Cried and fussed and ate all Monday night. Hooey, that was fun.
Yesterday, after the sleep deprivation party, I sure was beat. Tried to sleep all day, but the 'rents tried to keep me up. We went for a stroller ride, went out for dinner, watched Dad set up the new computer, etc. Exciting, eh? Actually, just writing that makes me want to learn to walk.
The one useful tidbit came when I heard Mom giving Dad the bidness for how much the computer cost. Filing that one away for future use...I can see it now: "That remote control car costs too much? How 'bout that nice Dell you bought a few years back?" Put that in your smoke and pipe it.
